What is a POV Camera? Point Of View (POV) cameras are small digital cameras designed to capture shots from a specific viewpoint. The POV can be a static point on stage as part of a multicam registration of a concert or theater play. Or the POV can move cause the camera is attached to a helmet to register an action in sports, or to get shots from the perspective of a character in filmmaking. The applications are numerous.
Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras are a specific type of POV cameras. They can rotate horizontally and vertically so they cover more area, which comes in handy in the surveillance sector.
Full HD cameras with choices between HDMI only, HDMI & SDI with or without genlock, and IP-based PTZ cameras with 12x or 20x zoom.
